: (1) The relevant public prosecutor office shall provide the per diem and travel allowance to the witness who appears in the court on behalf of the Government of Nepal in the case under this Act.
(2) If any government employee appears in the court as a witness or expert in a case under sub-section (1), the office in which he is assigned shall provide him with the daily and visiting allowance that he is entitled to in accordance with the prevailing law.
